Nick Ciaccio, founder and President of 12|21 Financial Consulting Group, is a dynamic finance professional with significant employment and consulting experience overseeing the daily finance and accounting operations of small and medium privately-held service businesses.
Nick spent twenty years in accounting and finance departments in the private sector, working for businesses in a variety of industries. Nick was the VP of accounting for a major publisher and CFO of one of the largest independent advertising agencies in Cincinnati. He founded 12|21 Financial Consulting Group in March 2010 and has served many clients in various industries.
Before embarking on his career, Nick earned his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also obtained his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with an Accounting minor from Xavier.
In Nick's spare time, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and son (both of whom celebrate birthdays on 12|21!). He is an avid runner and cyclist, who was a three-time member of Team USA in the Duathlon World Championships and has completed various triathlons and marathons. He also enjoys reading action novels.
Tom Wiandt, a 12|21 client consultant, is an innovative and progress-focused finance professional with success in a variety of industries, including telecom, packaged foods, technology and manufacturing. He is a valued financial leader, able to craft business strategies that result in outstanding cost effectiveness and overall organizational performance. Tom offers an extensive and versatile skill set in financial analysis and operations, strategic planning, and benchmarking to deliver immediate and impactful contributions to organizations.
Tom has over twenty years of experience in accounting and business planning, serving most recently as the Senior Director of Finance for a well-known national telecom entity and the Director of Business Planning & Analysis for a major publisher. Previous to these roles, he worked for a large packaged foods company, leading teams in both the supply chain organization and division headquarters.
In the early stages of his career, Tom earned his MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Accountancy from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In addition, Tom holds the certification of CPA in Ohio (Inactive).
Tom and his wife keep busy by spending time with their three children. He stays very active in his community and frequently volunteers at his church. He expresses a love of the outdoors through fishing and hiking. During the fall and winter, Tom can often be found in Oxford, cheering on his RedHawks to victory.
Maureen Sorce, a 12|21 client consultant, is a profit-focused financial manager with twelve years of experience at Procter & Gamble. Maureen has managerial experience in consumable goods and brings considerable expertise in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and analysis. Maureen is a trusted manager with the organizational and business skills to bring peak efficiency to a growing business.
Maureen has had broad exposure to the many facets of consumer products and product supply financial management and accounting. She has worked as a financial manager in sales finance, brand management, pricing analysis, corporate strategy, plant management, cost accounting, storeroom management, inventory management, cost forecasting and major cost restructuring.
Maureen earned Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance and in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, where she was a recipient of the Voorheis Academic Scholarship Award.
Maureen has done extensive volunteer work raising funds for private educational institutions and leading building fund initiatives. Maureen and her husband enjoy coaching their four children and volunteering at their church. Maureen is a volunteer librarian and a substitute teacher in her spare time.
